Pay Range: $27.00 - $33.00

The pay range is based on consideration of criteria such as required qualifications, experience, education and skills. Marquette Bank reserves the right to offer the selected applicant a salary commensurate with the applicant's qualification, experience, education and skills.

Position Summary:

The Facilities & Project Specialist is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing interior and exterior structures, fixtures, and equipment. This role collaborates with Facilities Management, branch personnel, and vendors to complete work orders and coordinate facility projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and perform repairs at all assigned locations on a scheduled basis.
  • Maintain assigned branch locations.
  • Monitor performance of janitorial, landscaping, snow removal, and other scheduled vendors.
  • Maintain effective communication with branch personnel.
  • Inspect lighting, signage, roofing, ceiling tiles, plumbing, landscaping, irrigation, grounds, building structure, HVAC, electrical systems, and interior structure to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Identify hazards and necessary repairs and report them to Facilities Management.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Management to improve efficiency, response time, and service quality while reducing costs.
  • Complete work orders within designated time frames and communicate completion to Facilities Management.
  • Recommend vendor involvement when necessary.
  • Order internal lighting equipment, ceiling tiles, and supplies; track and monitor orders.
  • Utilize and maintain tools and related equipment.
  • Schedule maintenance for company vehicle.
  • Maintain inventory of tools and equipment for loss prevention.
  • Participate in quarterly maintenance meetings to share information and procedures.
  • Coordinate facility projects as assigned by Facilities Management.
  • May be required to work outside regular business hours as needed for emergencies, projects, or other reasons related to this role. All time worked will be recorded and compensated in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.
  • Actively comply with all applicable laws and regulations to include the Bank Secrecy Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, and all other deposit, lending, or non-deposit service regulations, adhering to the Bank's internal policies, procedures, and risk management responsibilities contained in the Employee Handbook, the Employee Code of Conduct, and other applicable policies.
  • Perform job-related responsibilities that support departmental and organizational goals, consistent with the scope and purpose of the position.

Knowledge/Abilities/Experience and Training

Required:

  • Working knowledge of required maintenance responsibilities.
  • Project coordination experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent maintenance and facilities experience.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting methods.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb.
  • Frequently use hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, and maintenance devices.
  • Frequently ascend and descend ladders and work at elevated heights.
  • Occasionally work in confined spaces.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently perform visual inspections of facilities, grounds, equipment, and building systems.
  • Regularly operate a motor vehicle to travel between assigned locations.
  • Occasionally work outdoors and be exposed to varying weather conditions and temperatures.
  • Valid driver's license.

The work environment is typically a professional office setting with a moderate noise level.
