Summary: Performs scheduled and non-scheduled daily tasks. Responsible for maintaining awareness of all equipment assigned during production operations and ensuring efficient operation within a commercial laundry plant. Performs preventive maintenance and emergent repairs as needed. Identifies and corrects issues such as jams, bad or missing belts, and missing ironer tape. Seeks technical assistance from Engineering when necessary.

• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Completes maintenance and repairs promptly and effectively, including overhead rail and conveyor systems.
• Assists technical and mechanical personnel, including outside vendors.
• Maintains the maintenance log with entries on incomplete tasks and new issues.
• Notifies Production Supervisors about equipment status impacting production or causing downtime.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently. Motivated, prompt, and proactive in handling tasks. Good communication skills.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment safely, understanding safety procedures such as lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and hot equipment handling. Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Knowledge of machinery, including mechanical drive systems, conveyor systems, and overhead rail systems, with the ability to assist in repairs and maintenance.
