Janitorial Cleaner; Part-Time

Job Summary

The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment within a surgical medical facility in the Lake Nona area. This role involves constant communication with peers and visitors, performing various cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

8:00 am to 2:30pm

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the facility.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and windowsills.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Clean and maintain common areas, including break rooms and kitchens.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Janitorial Supervisor.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently, preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role is a plus.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning and maintenance interior and exterior.
