Summer Internship - IT Technician

The timeframe for this summer internship is: may 11, 2026 - august 7, 2026

What you get to do:

* park tours with members of your leadership team

* planned meeting sessions with members of your leadership team

Daily responsibilities:

* must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs

* previous public speaking/presentation experience required

* position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift

* perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)

* must be able to complete all required train-the-trainer programs and certifications required for delivery of trainings

* perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals

* must be willing to comply with all sea grooming guidelines and employment standards

* must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat

* must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our holiday and availability agreement.

* consistently practice safe work habits including the use of personal protection equipment (ppe) and reporting unsafe situations

* ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelines

What it takes to succeed:

* currently pursuing a college degree

* commit to working through the 2026 peak operating season (mid may- mid august)

* flexible availability (schedules include nights, weekends, and holidays).

* excellent human relations and communication skills

* previous leadership or theme park experience is a plus

* working knowledge of windows, cisco ios, and/or avaya

* excellent written/verbal communication skills and be comfortable speaking over a radio

* basic math skills

* basic analog phone troubleshooting skills

* able to recognize and address service design (according to itil methodology processes) concerns; to include service levels, availability management and information/physical security management

* able to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds

* able to climb ladders and be comfortable working at heights up to 100 feet

* comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor

* comfortable working around animals

* able to work in all weather conditions
