What you get to do:

As a water quality automation technician, you will provide key support for our year-round park operational needs. You will:

* perform routine inspections of all water quality life support systems.

* troubleshoot and repair systems.

* set up and install systems for new and existing units.

* perform bench and field repair.

* plan workload with minimal supervision.

* train others in general system operations and functions.

* strictly adhere to all safety procedures.

* communicate professionally and effectively with ambassadors, vendors and our guests.

* perform other duties as assigned.

What it takes to succeed:

* must be at least 18 years of age.

* high school diploma or equivalent.

* at least 4 years of electrical controls experience

* advanced experience working with vfd's, plc's and controllers

* ability to write delta code

* familiar with computer automated systems & the associated equipment

* familiar with repairing ozonators

* good understanding of blueprints and schematic diagrams

* computer proficiency with microsoft office

* good mechanical skills required

* advance experience in installing conduit (pvc, emt, rigid) and low voltage raceways preferred

* excellent communication and math skills

What else is important:

* valid state driver's license.

* ability to lift 50 lbs. And push/pull 100 lbs.

* position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed.

* perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing).

* must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes. Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals.

* work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays.

* must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities.
