Under direct supervision, perform all basic warehouse functions including issuance, receipt, pickup/delivery of materials. Duties also encompass cycle counting, rotating shifts, call‑out, cross‑training, and supporting customer needs.

• Assist with daily safety checks of trucks, forklifts, aisle stackers, and other logistics equipment before use.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
• Issue materials into the OUC Enterprise One system and operate the barcode scanner.
• Mark and label materials with identifying information.
• Assist in delivering materials to operating crews.
• Keep free bins stocked to proper levels.
• Assist in picking up and delivering materials from OUC suppliers.
• Use OUC equipment for storage and retrieval when supervised by a senior warehouse associate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform arithmetic computations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; calculate rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and standard office equipment.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of six (6) months of warehousing or related experience.
• Class A Florida CDL or completion within 6 months to 1 year of hire.
• Forklift certification required within 60 days of employment.
• Background in warehousing, electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation preferred.
• Customer‑service skills preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Salary Range:
Starting at $24.984 per hour (estimated $51,966.00 annually) with a structured step progression and performance‑based pay increases every 6 months up to $30.031 per hour (estimated $62,464.48 annually).

This role frequently exposes workers to insects, extreme weather, chemicals, heights, confined areas, and excessive noise. Workers must be willing to work extended hours, including weekends, nights, holidays, and during storms, as well as travel between Pershing, Gardenia, St. Cloud, and Stanton Energy Center locations.

Work consists of constant standing, walking, speaking, hearing, and inspection. Tasks include lifting 0–20 lbs, 21–40 lbs, handling 50+ lbs, bending/stooping, pushing, pulling, digging, reaching over head, kneeling, crawling, and climbing (ladders, stairs, hills). Occasional sitting and monitoring/operating heavy trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and bridge cranes.
