The General Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hotel maintenance experience and the ability to work independently during overnight hours. Preferred applicant will have experience working in a hotel, with experience working with vinyl wallcovering installation and repairs, drywall, woodworking, door repairs, painting and tile work.

What We're Looking For:
- Conduct general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front‑of‑house areas.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on guest rooms and public areas to ensure optimal functionality.
- Address repair needs for mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment with appropriate skills and tools.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure that all maintenance tasks comply with safety and operational standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including storage of tools and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
- Assist with additional maintenance projects or duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of hotel maintenance experience required
.
Experienced with vinyl, wallcovering installation and repairs, drywall, woodworking, door repairs, painting, and tile work.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and staff.
Attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
