Job Title
Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic
DutiesDuties include but are not limited to:
- Performs diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, tuning, and repair of Building Automation Systems (BAS/Metasys), PLC based control panels, DDC systems, field controllers, HMl/graphics points, alarm/trend configurations, communications links, and device addressing for all CEP associated equipment including boilers, chillers, generators, cooling towers, pumps, and distribution systems.
- Monitors plant performance using BAS, local panels, and field rounds to identify abnormalities, initiate corrective actions, and ensure safe, continuous steam, chilled water, and power generation.
- Ensures all diagnostic findings, corrective actions, repairs, control adjustments, and operational interventions are accurately and promptly documented in the work order system to maintain complete, compliant, and auditable maintenance records.
- Verifies integrity of control logic, sequences of operation, setpoints, PID tuning, and alarm thresholds; restores controls functionality and validates normal operation through trend analysis, loop checks, interlock testing, and live functional testing.
- Performs the full range of corrective and preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and component level troubleshooting on all mechanical systems within the CEP, including boilers, DA tanks, condensate tanks, feedwater systems, heat exchangers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, AHUs, exhaust fans, flow meters, VFDs, domestic water systems, and chemical feed distribution equipment.
The employee will be rotated between the Lake Nona and Lake Baldwin CEPs to ensure continuity of care and knowledge sharing between both locations.
Work Schedule:
Sunday-Saturday 12:00AM-12:00PM, 12:00PM-12:00AM or Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:00PM or Tuesday-Friday 6:00AM-4:00PM. Rotating Shifts between both CEPs.
