Maintenance Technician

Our client, an industry leader in facility management, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring the smooth functioning and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Orlando, FL

Pay Range: $22 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

What's the Job?

  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
  • Inspect and maintain the physical condition of the facility, addressing general repair, cleanliness, and structural concerns as appropriate.
  • Perform minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs to maintain facility appearance and functionality.
  • Perform grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, debris removal, raking, and pressure washing.
  • Review, prioritize, and respond to maintenance and repair requests in a timely manner, coordinating with external contractors when needed.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a maintenance-related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and general facility maintenance practices.
  • Knowledge of applicable workplace safety procedures and maintenance practices.
  • Ability to perform job duties requiring prolonged standing, frequent bending and stooping, and lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
