Fleet Shop Manager

Actively seeking a Fleet Shop Manager position for a fleet maintenance facility in Orlando, FL. This is a hands-on management role overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance on a fleet of approximately 1621 trucks. The successful candidate will manage three technicians, maintain quality control, mentor staff, and handle supplier and dealership relationships across Florida operations, including occasional travel to Jacksonville. This is a newly built, well-equipped facility with five service bays, modern diagnostics tools, and a strong emphasis on preventive maintenance planning.

Requirements Must-haves: 3+ years of shop foreman or fleet maintenance leadership experience Demonstrated decision-making and communication skills Preventive maintenance (PM) experience is critical ASE certifications (relevant to heavy-duty trucks) Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one with company support Ability to work hands-on: diagnostics, quality control, mentoring technicians, and occasional wrench work Knowledge of truck systems

Experience with driveline, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
