Salary Schedule
To provide direction and leadership in the area of custodial services so that all students and district employees have a safe, clean and effective environment in which to learn and work.
QUALIFICATIONS- High school graduate or any equivalent combination of related education, training and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential job functions. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience in custodial operations or related custodial field required, which includes two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a current driver’s license.
- Experience mentoring, evaluating, problem solving and creating a team orientated environment is preferred.
- Creating and conducting custodial training preferred.
- Custodial certification (i.e. FSPMA) preferred.
The incumbent is considered to be “essential personnel” during an emergency and can be subject to being held over or called back to a district location at all times.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESKnowledge of all facets of custodial operations management preferred; demonstrated leadership and management ability; skill in application of principles of personnel supervision; effective oral and written communication skills; knowledge of computer systems; ability to apply principles of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) in daily activities. Knowledge and understanding of APPA system scores Ability to plan, schedule, instruct and supervise a large staff of custodial personnel.
Abilities to organize and prioritize numerous activities.
REPORTS TO Senior Manager (Area)
SUPERVISES Custodial Technicians, Custodial Crew Leader Masters, Custodial Crew Leaders, Custodian Residents and Custodians.

90 Visual Acuity The power to see at a level which allows reading of numbers and text, operation of equipment, inspection of machines, etc.
Note Will total more than 100 percent as several activities may be performed at one time.
WORKING CONDITIONSConditions the worker will be subject to in this position.
Indoors and Outdoors The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
