We are hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for our apartment community The Debra Metrowest in Orlando, FL
.
Service Managers are critical business leaders who directly influence resident satisfaction, renewal performance, property appearance, and overall asset value. What You Will Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a maintenance team while fostering accountability, engagement, and high performance.
- Drive resident satisfaction through responsive service, quality workmanship, and strong communication.
- Oversee all maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance programs, apartment turns, vendor management, work order completion, and capital improvement initiatives.
- Partner with community leadership to identify maintenance, operational, and capital priorities that improve asset performance and resident experience.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, environmental health and safety standards, local regulations, and operational procedures.
- Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, contracts, and resources to maximize operational efficiency while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Utilize technology and performance metrics to monitor service delivery, team productivity, and operational outcomes.
What You Have
- 3+ years of multifamily maintenance, facilities management, building operations, or related property maintenance experience.
- 1+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing maintenance technicians or service teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage work orders, preventive maintenance programs, apartment turns, vendor relationships, and maintenance operations.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance.
- A reliable mode of transportation.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, emergency response situations, and rotating on-call assignments.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
