Our client is seeking an experienced AH-64E Maintenance Technician III to support a high-priority aviation training program involving Apache 64 Echo Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT) simulators.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with Apache, Longbow Crew Trainer, or advanced aviation simulator experience to work in a mission-critical environment.
The role offers strong earning potential along with provided housing, transportation, healthcare, and assignment support while working directly with advanced military aviation training systems.
- Provide maintenance and sustainment operations for Apache 64 Echo Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT) simulators
- Perform onsite maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of parts for the AH-64EV2 LCT
- Perform scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) and Government Furnished Property
- Maintain supported systems in Fully Mission Capable (FMC) condition in accordance with applicable mission and performance requirements
- Perform maintenance in accordance with applicable technical manuals, preventive maintenance checklists, technical data, and established commercial maintenance practices
- Implement and support Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) requirements for supported TADSS
- Maintain operator and maintainer manuals, I/O manuals, COTS manuals, technical schematics, cold-start procedures, spare parts, and required tools
- Coordinate maintenance activities with customer and government representatives to support training, exercise, and testing schedules
- Perform system repairs and preventive maintenance in accordance with documented maintenance procedures
- Review and report facility conditions that may cause Non-Fair Wear and Tear (NFWT) to simulator equipment
- Log work orders and all maintenance activity accurately in the Information System Tool Suite (ISTS)
- Maintain accurate and complete maintenance records, including parts and spares used during repairs
- Experience with the Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT) simulator, BAT, or Black Hawk Aircrew Trainer
- Experience with the AH-64E Apache or UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter
- Prior military experience
- TADSS maintenance instruction, training, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience working from TADSS maintenance manuals, technical documentation, products, and maintenance procedures
- TADSS operator services experience supporting aviation flight simulators and aviation training systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal leadership and customer management
- Ability to independently plan, coordinate, and manage maintenance schedules
- Flexibility to support an extended onsite assignment
- $120,000–$140,000 annual salary
