Guardian Proservices is seeking a consistently hard-working, Janitor Custodial Specialist based out of Orlando International Airport who is committed to reliable quality service and customer relationships. As a valued member of the Guardian Professional Services Team, you will provide safe and clean environment to various airline passengers. We are seeking a motivated, friendly team member who will perform general cleaning duties in designated areas as needed.

• Floor & Project Technicians will maintain all types of floor areas through the process of stripping/refinishing hard surface floors and shampooing carpeted areas.

• Cleans and sanitizes after emergency spill clean up requests.
• Change Shampoo to Extracts.
• Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair, reporting all problems to the supervisor.
• Shampoo assigned carpeted areas.
• Maintain all assigned equipment, keep equipment clean and in good repair, report all problems and suggestions to the supervisor.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, reporting problems to the shift supervisor.
• Remove all soil, wax, and sealer from assigned hard-surface floors.
• Uses chemicals and solutions as directed by Tech Manual.

• Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and spot mop tile floors.
• Complete damp mop tile floors.
• Dust/clean cleared desks and surfaces of tables.

• Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly.
• Equipment (such as vacuums) must be properly maintained at all times.

• Working experience of basic janitorial duties and responsibilities is a MUST.
• Must have good listening and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to speak English and Spanish
• Must maintain a neat appearance. A uniform is required at some worksites.
• Must attend periodic training and safety meetings.
• Must be able to understand and anticipate the needs of the clients.
• Must be punctual.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
