Maintenance Coordinator
Place of Work:
Orrvilon Manufacturing Division in Orrville, OH
- Oversee maintenance operations, schedule repairs and ensure facilities are in optimal condition.
- Manage a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Plan and coordinate regular maintenance activities and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Create and implement preventative maintenance schedules to prolong the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
- Keep track of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability for ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance operations, ensuring cost‑effective practices are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Coordinate with external service providers for specialized maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Understanding of various systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Quick identification of issues and implementation of effective solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, contractors, and management.
- Ability to motivate and guide maintenance teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- High school diploma, relevant certifications or a degree in facilities management or a related field.
