Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

SUMMARY

The Housekeeper position performs a variety of general cleaning and laundry duties within EAA facilities. The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a clean, organized, and welcoming environment while maintaining discretion and professionalism. This position receives occasional instructions or will assist as new or unusual situations arise. Position requires initiative, safety, and good judgment in the performance of all duties to ensure high standards and well-maintained facilities.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.

Clean and sanitize restroom/bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas.

Change linens, make beds, and manage laundry (washing, drying, and folding)

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, and linens and notify management of replenishment needs.

Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.

Handle special cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of appliances or seasonal organization.

Follow safety and sanitization standards

Respect privacy and maintain confidentiality of household information.

Assist with set-ups and tear downs of hosted events to include chairs, tables, trash containers, etc.

Embraces and supports the EAA mission and performs safe practices in the workplace and aviation environment.

All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a housekeeper, cleaner, or similar position.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Organization and planning skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual.
• Physical ability to lift, bend and perform repetitive tasks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to perform manual labor, lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods of time while bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, push and pull motions. Work above ground on irregular surfaces.

May have exposure to outside weather elements, noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, pesticides and/or fertilizers.
