As a Field Service Engineer, you’re responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining the equipment at our customer facilities according to the specifications.

You troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, software, and sorter programming issues both on-site and remotely via phone or remote access.

Following installation, you provide customers with comprehensive technical training on machine setup, operation, first-line troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices.

You share your field experience in identifying bottlenecks and collaborate closely with service and engineering teams to implement effective solutions and continuous improvements.

Our customers are located worldwide, requiring approximately 140–180 travel days per year, including extended hours during our high-demand busy season. Travel includes both regional and international assignments; therefore, a valid passport is required as international (valid passport is required)

You report to the Service Coordinator

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

That you’re based in the Midwest region (Wisconsin preferred).

That you hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or possess equivalent practical experience.

That you have 3–5 years of experience as a (service) technician, with hands-on experience with machinery required.

That you have a broad technical knowledge base:
Electrical troubleshooting:
Experience with single-phase and three-phase systems, low-voltage DC systems, and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, Mechanical expertise:
Proficient in the use of hand tools, capable of reading and understanding mechanical drawings, and able to safely lift 25–50 lbs.

That you have software knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of Office 365. Experience with Linux, PLC systems, Siemens S7, and computer networks is considered an asset.

That your English is fluent, both in writing as verbal and preferably.

That you are a self-driven problem solver with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve issues.

Communicative, flexible, and adaptable, with a willingness to adjust working hours to meet customer needs. Ability to perform under pressure in challenging situations

We offer a competitive market-based salary of $70,000 to $85,000, along with comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and sick leave. Travel expenses are reimbursed through mileage and per diem, and a company card is provided for work-related expenses.
