We are seeking a dependable, hands-on General Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our facilities. This position is responsible for identifying maintenance needs, completing repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their work, has strong troubleshooting skills, and can work independently while also supporting the broader team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Note:

  • Perform general building and facility maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and building-related issues.
  • Complete preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
  • Repair doors, walls, ceilings, fixtures, hardware, and other facility components.
  • Perform minor painting, patching, caulking, and other general repairs.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize work based on urgency and operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and communicate concerns promptly.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Work safely and follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable safety regulations.
  • Assist with special projects, facility improvements, and other duties as assigned.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to employees, customers, and building occupants.
EXPECTATIONS
  • Reports to work each day and on time and works extra hours when needed.
  • Employee must comply with proper safety policies and procedures as required (i.e., when using cleaning chemicals, reporting incidents, etc.).
  • Provides excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers by maintaining a positive attitude.
  • The employee must be able to determine the neatness, accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
