General Description: A Houseperson assists the housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Position: Houseperson
Responsibilities:
- Assist housekeepers by delivering linens, towels, and cleaning supplies to guest floors.
- Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, and conference rooms.
- Remove trash and dirty linens from housekeeping carts and dispose of them properly.
- Set up and break down meeting rooms or banquet spaces as needed.
- Help with deep-cleaning projects and furniture moves.
- Restock storage areas and housekeeping closets.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or housekeeping needs.
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety and sanitation standards.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Additional duties may be required from time to time.
