First Resources Corp. is looking for a hands‑on, solutions‑oriented Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across our facilities. You’ll play a key leadership role supporting staff, maintaining company assets, and ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and well cared for.
What You’ll Do Lead & Support Maintenance Operations- Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance staff, including stepping in during the Director’s absence
- Assist with training new and substitute maintenance staff
- Participate in team meetings and required in‑service trainings
- Perform and oversee routine and non‑routine maintenance of buildings, vehicles, and equipment
- Carry out scheduled maintenance (oil changes, filters, inspections, light replacements, etc.)
- Coordinate contractors when work cannot be completed internally and ensure quality results
- Assist with fleet planning and deployment
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and safety policies are followed
- Respond to emergencies, evacuations, severe weather, and on‑call situations as required
- Identify and correct safety issues promptly
- Perform or oversee yard work and snow removal at all properties
- Maintain secure, clean, and organized work spaces
- Ensure security of tools, equipment, supplies, and facilities
- Request and purchase approved maintenance supplies and company assets
- Gather bid pricing and support vendor relationships
- Assist with budget oversight, facility planning, and loss control efforts
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience
- General building maintenance
- Vehicle maintenance
- Plumbing, electrical, and equipment mechanics
- Use hand and power tools
- Work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights
- Lift 50 lbs or more without restriction
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with strong customer service skills
- Obtain OSHA 10‑Hour Certification within 6 months
- Work flexible hours, including on‑call rotation
- Travel throughout the service area
- Respond during emergencies and severe weather
- Valid driver’s license and personal auto insurance
