Maintenance Technician

Location: Ottumwa, IA
Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 / hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Enjoy your evenings and weekends! Includes an on-call rotation).

As a vital part of our team, no two days will look exactly the same. You will:

• Lead Facility Care:
  Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for our residential homes and office buildings.
• Own Projects:
  Handle routine and complex repairs; collaborate with and oversee specialized contractors to ensure high-quality work.
• Champion Safety:
  Maintain safety standards for emergency evacuations and ensure all properties are hazard-free.
• Manage Seasonal Operations:
  Keep our sites safe and accessible year-round by managing lawn care and snow removal across agency locations.

• Experience:
  
  2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience is preferred.
• Qualifications:
  
  High school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance.
• Certifications:
  
  Ability to obtain an OSHA 10-Hour certification within your first 6 months (we will help you get this!).
• Physical Readiness:
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and comfortably work in confined spaces or at elevations.
• Flexibility:
  Ready to participate in a shared on-call rotation to handle occasional after-hours emergencies.
