EVS Manager

An EVS Manager plays a vital role in creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, residents, visitors, and staff. We’re looking for a hands‑on leader with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of environmental services throughout our facility.

• Plan, organize, direct, and oversee the functions and activities of the Environmental Services department
• Maintain the facility in a sanitary and orderly condition while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Serve as a working manager by performing EVS duties, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining assigned areas as needed
• Select, train, schedule, and assign departmental staff
• Evaluate staff performance and provide ongoing coaching and development
• Conduct routine inspections of facility cleanliness and departmental appearance
• Ensure proper infection prevention and environmental cleaning practices are followed
• Communicate effectively with department leaders and staff to support daily operations

• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Knowledge of housekeeping, sanitation, and infection prevention practices
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
