Position: Dining Services Assistant Dishwasher

Type of Position: Part-time Temporary
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
Work Schedule, Hours per week: must have open availability, predominantly Monday through Friday, up to 12 hours per week
Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No
Starting Salary Range: $15.68
Position SummaryResponsible for the cleaning, care, staging, and storage of pots, pans, and service items.
Required Qualifications- Requires a High School Diploma and little to no related experience.
- Must be able to pass Serve Safe Certification once employed.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
- Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation to include kitchen tables, shelves, floors, equipment, etc.
- Follow all opening and closing procedures for the dish area as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
