- Perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes
- Assist in maintaining the facility in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition
- Keep the facility in good repair and free from hazards caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems
- High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
- Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
- Prior maintenance experience required
- Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
Demonstrates expertise in maintenance procedures, ensuring environmental compliance and facility upkeep in accordance with regulations. Possesses strong communication skills and a passion for working with seniors in a long-term care setting.
