Starting Salary: $3,541.67 per month ($42,500.00 per year). Benefits include a matching contribution to employees’ retirement plans, 11 holidays, a minimum of 15 days of annual and sick leave per year, and a benefit allowance to offset insurance premiums for employees and eligible dependents.

The purpose of this job is to perform a variety of routine tasks involving unskilled to semi‑skilled manual labor at Tulsa Air National Guard Base, while functioning as a team lead. Tasks include general custodial and housekeeping activities, general maintenance, and performing escort duties. The employee will oversee other laborers and ensure assigned work is correctly completed in accordance with assigned schedules.

• Perform custodial activities including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, washing, scrubbing, cleaning and polishing building floors, walls, windows, ceilings, and drinking fountains.
• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect restroom toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, plumbing fixtures, walls, floors, partitions, door handles, countertops, mirrors, and benches.
• Refill toilet paper, paper towel, and soap dispensers as needed and replace batteries in dispensers and auto‑flush meters.
• Collect and dispose of debris and trash.
• Perform sanitary inspections in designated areas for infection control purposes.
• Maintain records of the distribution of furnishings.
• Establish housekeeping standards; assist with policy planning and prepare departmental budget requests.
• Maintain good customer service, communication, and relationships with each building manager.
• Attend training and meetings as required.
• Record accurate time accounting in iEMS.
• Perform computer‑based maintenance of Civil Engineering related programs.

Knowledge of custodial, general building, and mechanical trade tools, equipment, methods, and practices. Ability to follow simple oral instructions; use hand tools and high‑speed power tools; perform less skilled aspects of mechanical and building trades; and physically perform heavy manual labor.

Requirements: 2 years of experience in building or institutional custodial work.

• Be able to lift or carry a minimum of 60 pounds.
• Work in extreme environmental conditions (over 100°F and below 20°F).
• Work from various building heights.

• Contingent on a favorable NCIC/OSBI background check.
• Contingent on passing a pre‑employment drug & alcohol screening.
• Contain T1 security clearance (Eligibility for national security positions shall be granted only to U.S. citizens).
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Tobacco and vape free facility.
• Contingent on receiving continuous federal funding.
• Serves a 12‑month probation period.
