The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of company facilities, grounds, tools, and production support equipment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for all team members.

• Repair and maintain hand and power tools used in production areas
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems
• Conduct routine inspections of facility systems, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems
• Assist with facility and equipment repairs as needed
• Maintain exterior grounds, including mowing, snow removal, and general upkeep
• Monitor and maintain inventory of replacement parts, maintenance supplies, and tools
• Drive to local vendors and suppliers to pick up materials or parts
• Communicate maintenance activities and repair needs to the Maintenance Manager
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, or welding preferred
• Willingness to learn operation of forklifts, scissor lifts, skid loaders, and boom lifts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Reliable attendance and strong organizational skills

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in indoor and outdoor environments
• Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery
• Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and weather conditions may occur

The salary range for this role is $25.00 – $28.00 per hour. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Rise Modular’s Total Rewards package.
