We conduct hundreds of live auctions each year worldwide. The team is a mix of full‑time and part‑time roles ranging from equipment inspectors, yard managers and loaders to administrative staff and customer service representatives.

Loader Operators play a vital role in the success of our branch operations. They operate front‑end loaders to maneuver vehicles and equipment around the facility in preparation for auction. Safety is always the top priority, and operators learn new technologies and tools that are at the forefront of the auction industry.

• Utilize a front‑end loader to move vehicles and equipment around the IAA facility.
• Load and unload trucks as they deliver or pick up vehicles.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance to keep equipment fully functional and safe.
• Maintain accurate lot inventory of vehicles and parts.
• Document and record vehicle information; perform light maintenance and improvements such as shrink wrapping or steam cleaning in preparation for sale.
• Assist visitors by providing guidance and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Remain calm and alert, actively avoiding potential safety hazards that could cause damage to property while operating the loader or other heavy equipment.
• Report any violations of company policy immediately to a supervisor or manager.

• Valid driver’s license and high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally over 100 lbs.
• Detriment to physical demands; no desk job.
• Positive, upbeat demeanor for customer interactions.
• Teamwork is essential.
• Preferred but not required:
  Experience operating a forklift or front‑end loader (Volvo L90G or L90H).
• Background or strong preference for candidates with automotive, collision repair or related field experience.
• Ability to apply safety procedures, personal protective equipment and to detect hazardous situations.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials in accordance with industry regulations.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing and crawling, and stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Will work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must remain alert to hazards from heavy equipment and other vehicles within the work area.
