Job SummaryThe Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the gaming floor, public spaces, and employee areas. This role involves ensuring that all areas remain neat, safe, and sanitary for both guests and staff, while delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Perform cleaning duties in bathrooms, public areas, and gaming floor, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
- Ensure all amenities are replenished according to policies and guest expectations.
- Clean and sanitize public areas such as the gaming floor, lobby, bathrooms, and hallways.
- Respond to guest requests for additional amenities or assistance promptly and professionally.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and follow all safety guidelines.
- Report maintenance issues such as faulty equipment, broken furniture, or plumbing problems to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Inspect bathrooms and public areas regularly to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
- Follow all facility policies and procedures related to cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
- Assist in stocking and inventory management of cleaning supplies.
- Follow all safety protocols, including emergency procedures and proper handling of cleaning agents.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Adhere to uniform and grooming standards set by the facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Consistently meets or exceeds cleanliness and guest service expectations.
- Follows safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Maintains professional appearance and demeanor.
- Demonstrates reliability in attendance and punctuality.
- Works efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

- Prior experience in housekeeping or custodial services, particularly in hospitality or gaming environment, is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to respond to guest requests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
Employees are regularly required to stand, speak, hear, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. Occasional sitting may be required. Vision must include close and distance vision, color and depth perception, and peripheral vision. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds. Noise levels may vary from moderately quiet in office areas to loud on the gaming floor, and employees may be exposed to cigarette smoke on the gaming floor.
