Part of the Division of Student Affairs, University Housing consists of nearly 2.8 million square feet of facilities and is home to more than 9,000 students. The department employs 220 full-time staff members, 21 graduate assistants and 565 undergraduate student workers. As a self-supporting auxiliary, University Housing operates a $59 million budget derived only from student housing fees and other non-state sources.

Duties/Responsibilities (70%)- Clean, disinfect and sanitize sinks, tubs, showers, commodes and walls in bathroom area.
- Clean glass, mirrors and windows maintaining cleanliness.
- Vacuum carpets and walk-off mats keeping floors clean and free of debris.
- Clean furniture, light fixtures, walls, water fountains, fans, air vents, doors, kitchen appliances, ceilings, laundry rooms and trash chute areas according to department standards.
- Clean baseboards and stairwells, mop, sweep, strip, wax and buff hard floors.
