Industrial Mechanic: Hands-On Plant Maintenance & Repairs

• Independently performing repair work on equipment, machines, or systems, including functional testing and commissioning
• Performing maintenance, inspection, and testing work on production facilities
• Coordinating and supervising small teams (contractors) on construction sites and at plant components
• Acceptance and documentation of installation work performed by external contractors
• Assisting with performance acceptance
• Assisting with shutdown planning and coordinating external contractors and trades during the shutdown
• Contributing to improvements in the immediate work environment

• Successfully completed training as an industrial mechanic (machine or industrial fitter or comparable)
• Several years of professional experience in the relevant field
• Experience in industrial maintenance, e.g., continuous production and manufacturing facilities
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering, pumps, and industrial valves
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatics, and piping; welding certification is desirable
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• High degree of initiative, flexibility, and commitment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills and a proactive approach to work
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty
