Schedule: 260 days per year, 8 hours per day

Description: Bus mechanic will be responsible for skilled repair and preventive maintenance of a wide variety of automotive and construction equipment including, but not limited to, installing parts, changing tires, cutting and welding, painting equipment, and performing body repair.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Prefer graduate of a vocational program in auto or diesel mechanics
• Proven mechanical skills
• Appropriate State of Ohio certification/license
• State of Ohio Class B school bus and passenger endorsement, commercial driver’s license with air brake and transporting passengers; or needs to be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate

Salary commensurate with experience.
