Manufacturing Engineer

Are you an experienced technical leader with a background in field service, manufacturing engineering, electronics repair, or advanced capital equipment? We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of highly skilled technicians responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing sophisticated laser systems while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

• Lead and mentor a team of laser repair technicians in a fast-paced repair center
• Oversee daily repair operations, performance metrics, and workflow priorities
• Troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical and laser system issues alongside engineering teams
• Ensure repaired equipment meets quality standards and customer expectations
• Manage repair documentation, warranty activities, and spare parts inventory
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability
• Serve as the technical expert for assigned products while supporting customer escalations

• Associate's Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent hands-on technical experience
• 3-5 years of experience servicing lasers, photonics equipment, or other sophisticated capital equipment
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electro-mechanical systems
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for mentoring and developing technical teams

• Manufacturing engineering or repair depot operations
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control
