Job Description
Northrop Grumman is looking for a Maintenance Technician 2 to support our Facilities department. As a member of the Facilities department, you'll get to support operations in the Deployables Operating Unit. This position will serve on-site at Oxnard (2601 Camino del Sol).
Responsibilities
- Construct thermal chamber for new program
- Interpret engineering drawings for dimensions, positioning, etc. of thermal chamber
- Work with cross functional team to gather information and troubleshoot as required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Experience reading and using engineering drawings
- Some problem solving, collaboration skills and verbal/written communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Valid Driver's License
- US Citizenship is a requirement for employment
- Occasionally be on call during critical processes, e.g. startup of project
- Experience constructing thermal chambers or other similar structures
