At Caranella Tax & Advisory, we're building a modern public accounting firm that combines tax compliance, proactive planning, and advisory services for small businesses, real estate investors, and high-net-worth individuals.

We're not a firm focused on billable-hour quotas, excessive overtime, or simply pushing returns through the door. Most of our clients are small business owners with revenues ranging from $1 million to $25 million. We also work extensively with real estate investors, developers, and real estate professionals, creating opportunities for meaningful planning and advisory work throughout the year.

• Prepare individual, partnership, S corporation, trust, and other entity tax returns
• Participate in tax planning, projections, and strategy meetings with clients throughout the year
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax positions, planning opportunities, and deadlines
• Conduct tax research and prepare summaries and recommendations
• Assist clients with bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and financial reporting matters when needed
• Help improve firm processes, technology adoption, and overall client experience as we continue to grow

• 3–5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
• CPA preferred (or actively pursuing licensure)
• Experience with partnerships, S corporations, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and bookkeeping
• Experience with Quick Books Online and professional tax software (CCH Axcess is a plus)
• Strong communicator who enjoys working directly with clients
• Someone who thinks beyond compliance and enjoys helping clients make strategic decisions

• Competitive salary: $85,000–$115,000+ based on experience
