Student Aide

General Function:
Duties of the Position:- Greet visitors and provide customer service at the front desk.
- Answer phone calls and assist callers.
- Provide information about High School Equivalency (HSE) and English Language Acquisition (ELA) programs.
- Direct inquiries to the AED webpage for more detailed information and registration.
- Perform data entry tasks
- Sort and distribute mail. - File and maintain student records.
- Keep office supplies organized and stocked.
- Assist faculty and staff with administrative tasks.
- Help with organizing AED events.
- Being bilingual in Spanish is an added advantage.
Current enrollment at Harper College with a minimum of six credits per semester (three credits for the summer semester).
Experience Requirements:Basic keyboarding skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office software, ability to multitask, and preferably some prior office or customer service experience.
Work Schedule:Part-time schedule based on the student's availability, requiring availability during the following hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 5 hours and a maximum of 20 hours per week.
