Schedule Information:
Days/evenings/weekends depending upon course schedule

* The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Your application can remain "Under Review by Committee" for 18 months. Job Description:

Speech 101 is a basic oral communication course taught face-to-face, covering a multitude of speech topics. The instructor is responsible for facilitating the class, grading student speeches, teaching basic communication processes, and working with the faculty to develop the class and assess student work. The instructor is also responsible for maintaining their own electronic website associated with the course (through the College's system of choice, Black Board).

This person should be on time, flexible, and supportive to students.

Education Requirements:

Master's Degree in Speech Communication or related area required.

Experience Requirements:
Preferred:
Teaching at college level, two years experience helpful.
