CE Instructor - Art
Location: Palatine, IL (Harper College)
OverviewThe Harper College Community Music and Arts Center in Palatine, Illinois seeks part-time art instructors to provide instruction in group adult classes, mostly in the evening and weekends. This position is expected to start in August 2025. Running classes is dependent on enrollment.
Responsibilities- Instruct group adult art classes.
- Coordinate scheduling for evening and weekend sessions.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum.
- Experience teaching art to adult learners.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt instruction to diverse skill levels.
- Seniority level: Entry level
