Early Childhood Teacher

Work is primarily indoors in nature, however some time will be spent outside on the playground. Must be able to stand for long periods and take the children on long walks throughout campus. For children's safety must have the ability to quickly maneuver within the classroom and on the playground (running, rising from a floor position or child's chair). Must be able to lift independently up to a 50lb.

Educational Requirements: Early Childhood Teacher Qualifications Experience

Requirements: Teaching experience in early childhood setting required

• Plans and implements the preschool program activities under the direction of the Early Childhood Lab School Supervisor.
• Maintains a safe and healthy classroom and arranges a classroom environment in accordance with program goals and philosophy.
• Assists in the management of the preschool classroom.
• Reports classroom experiences and collaborates with the Early Childhood Lab School Supervisor.
• Attends professional meetings and maintains professional competence. Performs related duties as assigned.
