Job DescriptionAs a Client Relationship Consultant, you will play a vital role in building strong relationships with clients through various channels, including in-person, virtual, and appointment settings. Your focus will be on understanding and addressing customers' banking needs by providing tailored advice and guidance based on their unique goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating and nurturing client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up.
- Identifying banking solutions for new and existing clients based on their individual needs.
- Maintaining knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services.
- Delivering an outstanding client experience by greeting clients and processing transactions effectively.
- Collaborating with branch team members to ensure optimal client service.
- Opening new consumer and business accounts and handling service requests.
- Educating clients on digital products and self-service technologies to enhance their banking experience.
Note:
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration in accordance with the SAFE Act. Background and credit checks will be part of this process. Meeting NMLS requirements is essential to maintain employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically, a minimum of three to four years of retail banking experience or a related combination of training and experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate in a business context.
- Strong ability to develop relationships with clients through proactive engagement.
- Effective communication skills to interact successfully with clients.
- Thorough understanding of bank policies, procedures, and systems.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal aptitude.
- Experience with digital products and self-service technologies.
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
This role requires work from a U.S. Bank location on all scheduled days.
