Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

First Bank & Trust Company of Illinois is seeking an experienced Personal Banker to join our team. The Person al Banker is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships while delivering high-quality solutions that meet our customers’ needs. This role requires strong customer service skills, product knowledge, and a commitment to operational excellence.

• Provide exceptional customer service through face-to-face, phone, and digital interactions.
• Open and maintain checking, savings, CDs, IRAs and other deposit accounts.
• Support Treasury Management products, including wire transfer, ACH, Debit Card, and Mobile Banking/Zelle transactions.
• Provide teller support, including transaction overrides, vault balancing and ATM balancing.
• Open and close the bank in accordance with bank procedures.
• This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

• Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and consistency in work performance.
• Comply and remain up to date with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster respectful and collaborative relationships with teammates.
• Support the overall goals of the Bank and ensure that services are delivered professionally and efficiently.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in personal banking or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Experience with Treasury Management products preferred.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with financial software systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
