Responsible for coordinating marketing and outreach activities that promote hospital programs, product lines and affiliates. Plans, develops and participates in activities that enhance relationships with community agencies. Develops and maintains collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with external resources.
Partners with internal and external sources to develop a marketing plan that is consistent with the corporation and entity(s) goals, objectives and strategies.
Coordinates the organization's sales effort along with the Director, Business Development LOH via lunches, meetings with high school representatives, and therapists. Coordinates and/or conducts speaking requests that are made within the community, including but not limited to presentations, radio/television/print media interviews and educating other audiences as appropriate.
Creates and maintains referral relationships.
Supports the organization's strategic business development efforts.
Assists the Director, Business Development LOH and other relevant individuals with coordinating the organization's public relations efforts via media spots, newspaper, and cable. Develops the organization's favorable public image.
Conducts market research, auditing, analysis, and reporting activities relevant to the organizations mission, philosophy and goals
Provides and receives strategic counsel on marketing and business issues through hospital managers and coordinators. Provides feedback and information regarding competitors and complaints calls from patients or industry contacts.
Maintains documents and records associated with sales activities including but not limited to budget adherence.
Assesses the clinical needs of customers seeking behavioral health services and to provide treatment referrals which are consistent with the customer's medical and psychiatric status/symptoms.
Collaborates with outside referral sources to help navigate their customers to the appropriate resources and appointments, completes assessments and helps to facilitate a seamless transition from call to assessment to appropriate services.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health or Business related fieldCertification: N/A
Experience:
A minimum of two years of previous experience in behavioral health, community relations, or marketing.
