Facility Attendant – IMRF (Pension)

We are hiring Facility Attendants for our various facilities, including the Community Center, Falcon Park, and Birchwood Recreation Center. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, setting up and taking down rooms, providing customer service, enforcing facility rules, and ensuring security. During the outdoor season you will also clean outdoor restrooms, and you may be required to work during special events. While on duty you will serve as the lead custodial staff, ensuring that other attendants complete their setup, takedown, and cleaning duties.

• 1–2 years of experience in facility maintenance (preferred)
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Previous custodial experience (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class "D" Driver's License
• Positive customer‑service attitude in a fast‑paced, changing environment

This is a part‑time position (approximately 25 hours per week) with night and weekend shifts. Pay range: $16–$17.25 per hour.
