Job Description:
We are seeking a caring and qualified Substitute School Nurse to provide healthcare services to students in the absence of the regular school nurse. The Substitute School Nurse will play a crucial role in promoting student health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
* Provide nursing care for students as needed
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
* Conduct health screenings and assessments as needed
* Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health concerns
* Maintain accurate health records and documentation
* Adhere to all school health policies and procedures
Qualifications:
* Valid nursing license (RN, LPN, or ISBE licensed nurse)
* CPR and First Aid certification
* Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Schedule:
This is a part-time, on-call position with flexible hours
