Description

Safety Harbor Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced, hands-on Electrical & Facilities Specialist to join our Engineering team.

We are looking for a highly skilled electrical professional with strong troubleshooting abilities who can help maintain and improve a large, active resort property.

This is a hands-on position. The successful candidate will be expected to diagnose problems, perform repairs within their qualifications, oversee preventative maintenance, and help ensure that our building systems remain safe and reliable.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and facility-related issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and building systems
  
  Diagnose equipment, lighting, controls, motors, panels, and related systems
• Respond to guest room and facility maintenance issues
• Assist with general building maintenance when needed
• Coordinate with licensed contractors when work requires outside services or permitting
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Identify recurring problems and recommend permanent solutions
• Participate in emergency and after-hours response when necessary

Safety Harbor Resort & Spa is currently restructuring its Engineering and Facilities Department. We are seeking exceptional technical talent first. Candidates who demonstrate strong leadership, organization, accountability, and knowledge of the property may have the opportunity to assume additional management responsibilities within the department.
