About the Role:
Kadima at Campbelltown, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of equipment, furniture, and buildings.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
Cleaning and maintaining the facility's interior and exterior spaces
Conducting routine inspections of equipment and reporting any issues or malfunctions
Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
Restocking supplies and materials as necessary
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Respond to resident and staff requests for maintenance and repair services
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 to 2 years of experience in a related field
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require physical effort
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork skills able to complete general repairs like dry wall, minor plumbing repair and other maintenance duties
