Job Title: Admin Authorizations Coordinator (Workers’ Compensation)

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Onsite for the first 4–6 weeks of training, then hybrid schedule (2–3 days remote flexibility).

Job DescriptionAddison Group is seeking an Admin Authorizations Coordinator to support a Spine Surgeon within a busy orthopedic setting. This role will focus heavily on workers’ compensation and third-party case coordination, serving as a central point of contact between the practice, legal representatives, insurance carriers, and case managers.
This position is being added to streamline workflows and support surgical scheduling efficiency. The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, and experienced navigating the complexities of workers’ compensation processes.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with attorneys’ offices to coordinate physician depositions and manage scheduling logistics
- Assemble and organize patient records in preparation for deposition review
- Confirm receipt of required prepayments prior to finalizing deposition dates
- Schedule and coordinate Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs), ensuring all documentation and payments are secured
- Arrange patient visits at the direction of the provider and administrative team
- Submit and monitor workers’ compensation authorization requests for office visits and surgical procedures
- Maintain consistent communication with case managers, attorneys, and referral partners to provide case updates
- Distribute requested medical documentation, including clinical notes, work status forms, and physician directives
- Provide additional administrative support to assist with office operations as needed
- Prior experience managing workers’ compensation and/or third-party cases required
- Strong understanding of authorization processes involving legal representatives and insurance carriers
- Ability to communicate assertively and professionally with multiple stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and time management skills
- Comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with EHR systems required;
