Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the ER Transitional Care unit. The role involves monitoring patients in the ER while awaiting inpatient transfer and floating to inpatient areas to assist with discharges. Telemetry or Med-Surg experience is preferred, with a focus on safe, evidence-based nursing care.
The position requires a BSN, IL RN license, and BLS certification. ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC may be required for certain ER areas within one year of hire.
