Duties:
Under the direction of the Department Chair, responsibilities include teaching information literacy and digital literacy sessions online and in-person at the main campus and at the college's extension sites as well as providing reference services. Duties also include creating instructional materials and digital learning objects, supporting media production, including technologies such as video and audio production, and other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
& Experience
Master's degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited program.
QualificationsRequired: Master's degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited program.
- Teaching and reference experience
- Ability to learn and adapt to new and changing technology
- Experience with learning management systems
- Experience with audio and video production
Part Time
HoursAdjunct/PT position; 16 to 25 hours per week. Evening and weekend hours available. Main location is at main campus/library (Palos Hills). May need to travel to extension sites at times (Tinley Park, ECBI).
Salary/Wage$33.00 per hour
