Duties:Part-time, non-credit Continuing Education instructor.
Moraine Valley Community College Community and Continuing Education is seeking an enthusiastic Dance Instructor to teach non-credit classes for students of varying ages and skill levels. Courses may include ballet, jazz, hip-hop, ballroom, Latin, contemporary, line dancing, or specialty dance workshops. The instructor will create an inclusive and engaging learning environment while promoting proper technique and movement.
Experience:
- Professional experience in dance performance, choreography, or instruction.
- Previous teaching or instructional experience required.
- Ability to teach students with diverse experience levels.
- Certification or specialized training in a dance discipline is preferred but not required.
Experience in the classroom or class setting.
Ability to teach diverse learners in the topic.
Demonstrate a shared value in the college’s core mission and vision.
Part Time Temporary
Hours:Evening and/or weekend classes based on enrollment and program needs.
Salary/Wage:$35–$45 per hour
