Technical Crew - FPAC On-Call Staff (Summer-Fall)

Fine & Performing Arts Center
Work Location:
Main Campus
Provides all lighting, scenic, sound, and some video support for events in the Fine and Performing Arts Center. This includes Academic Music, Academic Theatre, the Performing Arts Series, and internal/external rental events. Ongoing on‑call position. Hours vary per week. Evening and weekend work is required.
Education / ExperienceMinimum of high school diploma or high school equivalent/general education degree (GED) required. Please clearly list any related experience on resume/application.
Qualifications- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), Outlook email, and internet
- Basic understanding of scene shop tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivated, self-directed, and able to work alone or as part of a team, as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and repeatedly lift at least 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of theatrical equipment is preferred
- Understanding of theatrical terms preferred
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.

HoursOn call positions – hours will vary.
Evening/Weekend hours needed.
Salary / Wage$15.00-$21.00 per hour (On‑Call Levels 1,2,3,4)
