Technical Crew - FPAC On-Call Staff (Summer-Fall)

Provides all lighting, scenic, sound, and some video support for events in the Fine and Performing Arts Center. This includes Academic Music, Academic Theatre, the Performing Arts Series, and internal/external rental events. Ongoing on‑call position. Hours vary per week. Evening and weekend work is required.

Minimum of high school diploma or high school equivalent/general education degree (GED) required. Please clearly list any related experience on resume/application.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), Outlook email, and internet
• Basic understanding of scene shop tools
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Motivated, self-directed, and able to work alone or as part of a team, as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and repeatedly lift at least 50 lbs.
• Basic understanding of theatrical equipment is preferred
• Understanding of theatrical terms preferred
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Part Time

On call positions – hours will vary.

Evening/Weekend hours needed.

$15.00-$21.00 per hour (On‑Call Levels 1,2,3,4)
